Avocado Seed Planting

Thanks to Mr. Hartlieb, we have an avocado seed in the classroom that is on it's way to becoming a tree. We will need to chart it's growth and monitor the water level. Please read the article below for further information.

Snow Day

Greetings! I hope you are all enjoying the extended, extended weekend. Although the snow is not fun to play with today, I am hoping you are all able to use the time to work on your Science projects. One student has already submitted his to me! :) Many of you have e-mailed me in reference to our class blog. Thank you for your feedback. If there is something that you or your family think could be added that would improve the blog, please let me know and I will do what I can to add it. I am updating the 'Homework' page to reflect today's snow day. Please note that some tests are being moved back one day. Rest up, and I will see you all tomorrow. Mrs. Hartlieb

Exploring the Night Sky

Students are asked to view the night sky using their planispheres and draw their observations in their Science notebooks. Observations should be made every 5th day, or close to it.
